Archery
for Schools

What we need
Coaches

For outdoor archery we need to have a

minimum of 25m x 10m of clear and

unobstructed space when using a back

stop net. If the back stop net is not

used then an extra 70m overshoot

would be needed. The ground should

also be reasonably level. It is possible

that we can work with a smaller area,

but we would need to discuss this with

you further.

Vehicle access is  needed in order to

drop off the equipment from the van

and approximately 30 minutes will be needed before each session to set up this equipment.

All our coaches are fully licensed  Archery GB coaches (not archery leaders) and have enhanced CRB clearance.

They have all completed a child protection course with Sports Coach UK and have full Archery Specific insurance.
Equipment

We provide Olympic style recurve bows and the more modern compound bows, as well as  junior  bows.

We use layered foam targets (which reduce the risk of arrows bouncing out of the target), aluminium arrows, safety nets and all the protective equipment for the archer.
